You know what they say procrastination is like, right? Well, I definitely just did myself but good. I'm printing it off right now - it's due at 2. Instead of doing my brochure for my PR class last night, I waited until this morning. Unbeivable.Īll I know is it's spring, there's controversy, and the Cubbies are, for the first time, favored in the National League! Reverse the Curse! Go Cubs! And while I'll agree the off-season actions of The Boss, and I'm not talking about Bruce Springsteen, have generated quite a bit of excitement going into this season, it's debatable whether or not their 190 million dollar payroll and the way they do business is good for the game. total production is no doubt in favor of Soriano/Boone. It's going to be A-Rod and a hitless wonder at 2B. Compare his road stats with Soriano's and Soriano wins hands down - and he steals 20 more bases/season. Rodriguez's stats have been inflated over the past few seasons while playing in the cozy park in Texas. And I don't care who are you, you can't tell me that a healthy Boone/Soriano combination is better than A-Rod/(insert second baseman here). If he did, do you think the Yanks would cut him like they cut Aaron Boone, their former All-Star third baseman, this past week. Speaking of the Yankees, I hope Alex Rodriguez breaks his leg. the Yankees, but it promises to be an exciting season with Prior, Wood, and Maddux leading the way.
#EBAY RIPIT SERIES#
Cubs/Sox play on the fourth of July, and there are a couple Cards series throughout the summer. Cubs tickets go on sale tomorrow and I plan on being online and on my cell phone waiting. It's spring training my friends - the best time of the year.

The batting cage picture you see in the background is there for a reason. I saw a pair on ebay for $250 last night with a day left. Oh, by the way, two bleacher seat tix to the Cubs/Sox game on the 4th would have cost $74. We'll sit out in right field, in the sun, and my little brother's convinced he's going to catch a "long fly ball" - so it should be fun. The good news is I was still able to purchase 3 bleacher seat tix for me, my dad, and my brother to go watch the Cubbies beat up on Barry Bonds. I wouldn't get into the ticket booth again until 7:15 when 30 games were sold out. Guess where I was sent after clicking on the link.

So, I clicked on "season" to open up the season schedule to select another game, as the Cubs instructions said to. until I found out the game was sold out! Pissed. Well, after sitting in the waiting room for two and a half hours, I was finally allowed to buy my Cubs/Sox tickets! I was pumped. Then, they randomly selected fans to enter their ticket booth, refreshing your screen for you every 30 seconds. They had a virtual waiting room you had to log into. The way they handled their online ticket sales was a little unusual. So, Cubs tix went on sale online yesterday at 10am.
